Professional Insurance — developing

Professional membership is not insurance. Members who provide services may be required to hold appropriate cover relevant to their work, setting, risks and legal obligations.

In development — not yet open. Professional Membership is not currently accepting applications or admitting members, and no membership credential is being issued. These pages describe the intended standards.

Insurance

No insurance partnership is currently offered

Member responsibility

Appropriate cover for the actual practice

A member may need professional indemnity insurance, public liability insurance or other cover appropriate to the services they provide. The right cover depends on the practitioner’s work, profession, business structure, location and insurer terms.

Each practitioner remains responsible for obtaining advice, making accurate disclosures and ensuring their activities fall within their policy.

Institute requirements

Evidence may be required

Spirit Led Institute may make appropriate insurance a condition of Professional Membership where the member provides services for which such cover is reasonably required. Exact thresholds and evidence requirements are to be confirmed before formal applications open.

Future pathway

Exploring suitable options

Spirit Led Institute intends to explore appropriate insurance pathways for members. This is an intention to investigate, not a promise of availability, acceptance, price or cover.

Spirit Led Institute is not an insurer, insurance broker or agent. Membership does not insure a practitioner, their business, their clients or any service they provide.
