There was once a place almost nobody could enter.

Behind the veil. Beyond the noise. Beyond the outer courts. The Holy of Holies.

The place where God said:

“There I will meet with you.” — Exodus 25:22

I love that.

Not there I will assess you. Not there I will see whether you have finally got yourself together. There I will meet with you.

Then Jesus died. And the veil tore, from top to bottom. — Matthew 27:51

Something that had been guarded for generations was suddenly opened.

Hebrews puts it beautifully:

“We have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus.” — Hebrews 10:19

Perhaps we forget what an extraordinary invitation that is.

We can spend our lives in the outer courts of faith. Listening. Learning. Reading. Singing. Talking about God. All good things.

But eventually something inside us begins to hunger for more.

I don't just want to know about You. I want You.

And so we go further in. Into stillness. Into prayer. Into Scripture. Into those strange, quiet moments when the Holy Spirit makes something written thousands of years ago feel as though God has just whispered it directly into your heart.

No performance. No audience. No need to impress anybody. Just you. And God.

Perhaps that is The Way Within.

Not a journey deeper into ourselves for the sake of ourselves. But a journey through all the noise until we find the sanctuary within — and discover that God has been waiting there all along.

The veil is torn.

Come further in.
