1. Completion is not a qualification
A Spirit Led Institute Certificate of Completion shows that you met a course's completion conditions on a particular date. It is not an AQF qualification, Statement of Attainment, licence, professional registration or government accreditation, and it does not by itself authorise anyone to provide counselling, therapy or any other regulated service. It is not CPD-accredited by any external body unless a course explicitly says so.
2. Eligibility
Each course page states whether it offers a certificate. Some courses are deliberately non-assessed and do not issue one.
3. Assessment for certificates
A certificate is issued automatically once the course's stated conditions are met — for example, all required lessons completed and knowledge checks passed at the stated mark. Where a written submission is required, it is reviewed before completion is confirmed.
4. Verification, reissue and revocation
Each certificate has a unique number. Anyone can confirm it on the certificate verification page.
You can ask for a certificate to be reissued (for example to correct your name) through the support form. A refund does not automatically cancel a certificate you have already earned. A certificate may be withdrawn only for a specific reason, such as being obtained through misrepresentation, and only after you have been told the concern and had a chance to respond. Any decision is given in writing with reasons, and you may ask for it to be reviewed.
4a. Using your certificate for CPD
Where a course page lists CPD hours, your certificate records those hours as self-directed, non-accredited professional learning. The Institute is not a CPD-accrediting body and does not hold endorsement from any professional association.
Many professional associations accept self-directed learning toward annual CPD. Whether these hours count, and in which category, is decided by your own association — please check its current CPD policy. For an audit, keep your certificate, its verification number and the course outline, and note how the learning relates to your practice.

5. Practitioner recognition
The Institute describes a private Professional Membership and the SpiritRSPrac credential for Reflective Safeguarding Practitioners on its Professional Membership pages. These are private Institute arrangements — not statutory registration, AHPRA registration, external accreditation or a licence.
At present, practitioners can register their interest. A course certificate does not by itself confer membership or the right to use SpiritRSPrac.
Pending definitionThe admission assessment, competency evidence, renewal requirements and independent oversight for practitioner recognition are still being defined. Until they are published as final, the Institute makes no commitment about them, and no one should describe themselves as Institute-recognised on the strength of a course certificate alone.
